This shirt was made as a direct response to Waldemar de Carvalho's ruling
and labeling of homosexuality as a disease.
Being gay is not a disease and there is no cure.
Waldemar de Carvalho, a Brazilian judge, issued the ruling that approved gay
conversion therapy in Brazil after it had been banned for nearly 20 years.
The shirt says Cura Gay, which means Gay Cure in Portugese. "Cura"
on the shirt is crossed out, to signify that there is no “Gay Cure," that
you cannot cure homosexuality.
